(2/) The Trump presidency is further exacerbating income disparity; while many working americans are having a harder time surviving on a single job, there are Americans who work at most a single job and get paid for hundreds.
(3/) That they are asked to reinvest in the infrastructure that got them to where they are is what we would call economic maintenance. Capitalism and Democracy take require maintenance.
(4/) No one calls someone who refuses to change her radiator fluid or fix his roof a fiscal conservative; they call them irresponsible or negligent.
(5/) So why would we call corporations that benefit from our schools, our roads, our water, etc. self-made when they stand on backs of taxpayers and working americans?
(6/)It's as baffling as it is troubling. We can't wait for a few politicians to realize they've driven our economy into the ground, namely because it's disastrous for the rest of us.
