Marveled at the Long Room of the Old Library at Trinity College.
Stayed overnight in a wooden ship bed in a haunted castle - for cheaper than a hotel night in Brooklyn.

Visiting Galway, the county my great grandparents left for a chance at a new life in the states.

When a Galway bartender asked where I was from and immediately went to the wall and pulled this from @PhillyPolice - who I’m sure were in Ireland on official business.

And of course I met people from South Philly at a pub in Galway, including a guy who used to work at the P.O.P.E. and his girlfriend who was from where else, but Delco (this is not them, but this is the pub).
Now I’m back to reality. I’m here for stories I may have missed and stories about what makes Philly Philly that deserve be told. I hope I was a good ambassador for our city abroad. I talked her up from Galway to Dublin.
