Day 2 #RoyalVisitPakistan in Islamabad
Wills & Kate will:
- Visit local school to h/light girls education🏫
- Kids’ nature visit in Margalla Hills⛰
- Meet President 🇵🇰
- Lunch with Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI 🏏
- Meet BHC staff (private)
- Reception at #PakistanMonument🥂

William and Kate, in another lovely shalwar kameez, arrive at Islamabad Model College for Girls where they’ll highlight girls’ education & see the effects of the ‘Teach for Pakistan’ scheme which helps disadvantaged kids.

Kate & William pose outside the Islamabad Model School for Girls, a Government-run school, which educates students between the ages of 4 and 18, was established in 1978.

Kate & Wills are now en route to the Margalla Hills National Park 🏞 where they’ll walk the trails, set a leopard 🐆 trap by the river & take part in activities with local school kids.

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge are greeted by Dr Anis Rahman chairman of the Margallah Hills Natuona Park board & Asirra Ghulam, research assistant.

Video: Kate & William met local schoolchildren learning about conservation and pollution at the National Park. There’s a campsite here where they regularly meet & camp; one kid said they expected “the Prince & princess to be in crowns and tiaras” but they were “very humble”.

Prince George is a fan of🦎🦎His parents were shown a slideshow of animals found in the Mugallah National park, including leopards, cape hares, and porcupines, a monitor lizard was flashed up.

Kate & Wills have met President Arif Alvi & have just arrived for lunch with @ImranKhanPTI at the PM’s office. Kate has changed into trousers by @Maheenkhanpk and tunic by Catherine Walker. Her scarf is by Satrangi & earrings Zeen.

Kate & William leave official residence of @ImranKhanPTI after lunch. He was a friend of Diana’s & met Wills in ‘96. “I never realised how difficult it was to become [test cricketer].Similarly, when I told you that I wanted to succeed I didn’t realise it would take me 22 years.”

The Cambridges will visit the #PakistanMonument first tonight for a reception celebrating UK-Pakistani relations. Wills & Kate will arrive on a specialty painted tuk-tuk (that was featured on @TomDrewUK video earlier this week). Dress code “glamorous” 👗👘👑#RoyalVisitPakistan
