Great news for Michigan: @GovWhitmer is increasing asset limits for SNAP, cash assistance & state emergency relief programs to $15,000.

Reforming counterproductive savings penalties in assistance programs is among the most common-sense anti-poverty policies out there.
Reminder: This is exactly the kind of flexibility states will no longer have if Trump’s proposal gutting “categorical eligibility” takes effect.
