So, at my son’s soccer game yesterday, a parent went full bonkers.

The game was a little physical but no clattering tackles. Just some bumping and pushing. So, standard soccer.

A kid on my son’s team got fouled. Got up and fouled back. Parents on both sides start yelling.

I semi-yelled “Call the first foul!” only loud enough for us parents to hear. Not loud enough for the ref.

Mom from the other team absolutely loses it and storms towards me yelling “SHUT UP. SHUT UP. YOU SHUT UP!”

Meanwhile, I’m literally lying in the grass with parents.

Everyone from both team’s parent groups just stop and stare at the screamer - who is now standing over me pointing and shrieking “THEYRE GOING TO PUT OUR BOYS IN THE HOSPITAL.”

Seriously.

It was a scene.

Finally, a couple other parents pulled her away.

The dude next to me was like “You were pretty chill about that.”

I mean, I literally didn’t even sit up. Just watched the parent absolutely lose it.

Meanwhile, the score was 6-0 at that point. Her son’s team was winning.

Some people are just so, so, so over the top at youth sports games.

It’s crazy.

They’re worse than the kids.

By a lot.

So, that happened. It was wild.
