I belong to the same church as Mitt Romney and I just left the Church regional New England Conference a couple of hours ago.

He stated that there are "wicked leaders" which could destroy the Constitution and that every person in this country who believes in the power of prayer should pray for the United States right now. /2
Why is this important? Because there are about 7 million members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons) in the United States. In 2016, they voted overwhelmingly (about 65%) for Trump.

There was no doubt in my mind after leaving the meeting that the Church leadership has not only turned against Trump, but they are warning Church members about the peril our country is in *because* of Trump - although the name "Trump" was not mentioned.

Incidentally, the other church leader who was at this conference was @ChristoffDTodd - who clerked for Judge Sirica during Watergate. It was he and Sirica who were the first to hear the Nixon White House tapes.
