Happening now: Prof Edward Frederick Ssempebwa, 74 years, partner at Katende, Sempebwa Advocates on the witness stand to testify on subject land comprised in Busiiro, Wakiso. His company submitted the successful bid to Uganda free zone Authority. 
Prof Ssempebwa claims there was a new title superimposed over their clients' title. That Buwuluzi's title was issued in 2018. He asserts that even if the Attorney General has written to them to refund the money, their client is the rightful owner and are willing to challenge it.
He says the land was originally owned by the Mamba clan. He claims they did a search, made inquiries if the land was owned by their client and did the due diligence required by the law. He says he did not see any cause for suspicion over the rightful owner of the land.
