I love the EXPRESSION. It is exactly the expression I want to convey. Looking right at you. Maybe through you. And it scales at ALL sizes (try it).

The downside? It’s in an anime style, so I get called an “anime avatar,” with whatever clusterfuck of associations THAT carries.
I have VERY SERIOUSLY thought about trying to commission an artist to re-do my avatar in a non-anime style. But it would have to be a really good artist, because the expression has to be JUST RIGHT.
Maybe the great @EthanVanSciver could do it. Does he do commissions, I wonder?
