The Dems can impeach Trump for jaywalking if they want. There is absolutely nothing that can stop them, if they want to impeach the President. The time to stop this was early last November before the mid term elections.

If the Dems really want to impeach the President, they will. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do to stop it. This isn't caused by some super smart lawyers, a superhero SC or a secret whistleblower. It's caused because the Dems won the majority of the house in 2018.
All the theater over the last 10 months has been nothing but an attempt by the Dems to lower the political price they will pay for impeaching the POTUS.
The Dems can do a behind closed door Impeachment. They can do a public impeachment. They can use a special counsel. It doesn't matter. The Impeachment ship sailed last November.
Now it's a battle over cost. How much of a Political price will this fake Impeachment cost the Dems? As long as Trump's approval numbers remain high the cost will be very, very high for the Dems and too high for those in the GOP uniparty.
Trump has always said Washington is rigged that the deep state controls the DC. Swamp. I can think of no better way to drive this statement home to the people then having the Dems and deep stste impeach him over nothing.
The Dems are losing the narrative on Impeachment. They are adrift in the ocean on a life raft with no food, no water, the sun shining down and all they have to keep them warm at night is a thin blanket of impeachment. It doesn't look good for them.
The kicker is they can't accept how much trouble they are in. They think the USFM will come and save them. They don't know the United States Fake Media's helicopter is broken down, out of gas and unable to rescue them.
If you need something to drive this point home, ask yourself why has it taken 10 months for them to get here. They could have did this back in January. Why didn't they? Simple answer really: They thought they could avoid the price. The half off sale never happened.
In fact, due to the great job Trump has done and the great results of his policies, the Political price has continued to rise. Now the Dems are in a panic and seem to be willing to pay any price to scratch their Trump hate™ itch. This won't end well for them.
I've said after the SC report that impeachment was off the table because the price was too high. The SC report didn't lower the cost. I still believe for any sane person in DC, impeachment is off the table. I do, however, increasingly question how many sane Dems are left in DC.
