Draining the Swamp in Detroit!
Corruption in federally funded blight removal program run by the city of Detroit. Rigging bids for kickbacks & bribes.

#ButNothingsHappening
This case, like several others, seem to have come from a newly weaponized Special Inspector General for TARP programs that were part of the 2008-9 bail out programs!

This scheme started in 2013 until the FBI & DOJ brought charges!
How big was this program? Well almost $260M of federal tax payer dollars...
This felon took at least 71 bribes from one contractor over the 6 plus years he was running it for the city of Detroit as a contractor handling their bidding process.

Wonder when Contractor A gets indicted?
Adamo and one of his coworkers, Aradondo Haskins, who was hired on by Detroit to run the program were indicted by a Criminal Information instead of a grand jury indictment which means they waived that with intent to plead guilty. detroitnews.com/story/news/loc…
Haskins was fired by DBA in 2016 when this scandal broke revealing that the FBI had been investigating them since 2015. Yet Adama kept up the bribery until January of 2019! I bet they got the #Receipts!
Bank audits, affidavits, & investigations became public in late fall of 2016. But the investigation is reportedly focused on the Democratic Mayor Duggan of Detroit but it began under former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick who is in prison for corruption.
This entire scandal is far more expansive than I have time to go into, but seeing the sentencing of people who flipped is certainly a good sign that the big wigs are up soon!
