the american socio-financial tax system is so dysgenic it actively promotes and rewards not getting married or not making more than X amount of dollars if youre at the low middle level. not sure most people ever see the toxicity of this up close and in person [...]
theres a “gap” where youre making too much to be covered by the umbrella of things like medicaid but then also not making enough to actually float your way through the penalties for coming out from under that umbrella.
im the kind of person to just push through it but honestly its like, it would actually be easier to just shut down one of my revenue streams and then go back into the lower bracket. also when i marry my gf my income will count with hers and she’ll get kicked off her healthcare. ?

if you watched the stream tonight the TPUSA questions were bad because many of the questioners obviously thought of themselves as fringe and not as normal people. u have to remember that ur normal + that society casts you as “out there”, ur views are probably not actually radical
it gives u a base of power and a safe place to retreat to when you characterize yourself as a normal person who is being maliciously mischaracterized by others, which is true. at least two questioners leaned into kirks mischaracterization and set him up for a solid hit. not smart
one guy let himself get caught up talking about laws about being white in early immigration acts and the constitution, such a bad play. way smarter to just tell the truth and say that youre white and a normal person, neither obsessed with it nor pretending that youre not white

charlie what is ur organizations official stance on nominalism. do you reject universals. if not, what is ur organizations official stance on why universal categories apparently exist: are generalities like "stone" self generated or do we explain them by appealing to metaphysics
charlie, terrence mckenna explains hallucinogenics by appealing to entirely external "spiritual" forces. on the opposite end of the spectrum james kent explains it as an endogenous scientific phenomenon. how does your organization model the now mainstream "psychedelic experience"

1/ [Data #Thread] *Klaxon for all those interested in potential Twitter manipulation*. Here I compare a large sample of pro and anti-Trump Twitter accounts. Sample A includes around 137,000 pro-Trump Twitter accounts, and sample B, 65,000 anti-Trump accounts #disinformation
2/ Both Samples involved downloading Twitter accounts based on data from their Twitter bios. Pro-Trump accounts were selected if the contained terms such as #MAGA, #KAG #WWG1WGA #AmericaFirst (and similar). Anti-Trump accounts were chosen to see if they contained #Resist
3/ #DumpTrump #ImpeachTrump etc. While obviously not exhaustive, the sample is large. The first obvious potential finding is that there are clearly more overtly pro-Trump Twitter accounts in terms of biographical detail. Interesting when you consider that he lost the popular vote

@EU_Commission It is not up to Google to now charge its competitors for its faulty behavior and the amount of the fine, through an auction system that will benefit neither European consumers nor free competition, which should not be distorted by such process.

According to the Nigerian Communication Commissions, as at Feb 2019, Nigeria has about 115m internet subscribers of the 173m mobile subscribers.

Of course this doesn't mean 115m people but it shows internet penetration is on the rise from less than 90m 4yrs ago.
Due to the high cost of living, quite a number may not be able to afford subscribing for internet, hence the reliance on free WiFi where ever they are available.

Even those that can afford, also look for free WiFi in public/private places like hotels, cafeteria, etc
