Good morning. On the #impeachmentinquiry beat - VP Mike Pence's aide and special adviser on Europe and Russia, Jennifer Williams is expected to testify today. John Bolton was also called for testimony but is not expected that he will show.

@CourthouseNews Williams could have taken notes of the discussion between Trump and Zelensky in July & her insight may too extend to details of a trip in September where Pence met w/Zelensky in Poland.

@CourthouseNews Dems say they don't plan to hear public testimony from every witness that testified privately. If Repubs want any of those who have been called privately to testify openly, then they request them in writing w/detailed justification of the relevance re: parameters of the inquiry

@CourthouseNews Dems give direct examples of those parameters, as it was determined in the resolution that passed in House:
- Did POTUS request a foreign leader/govt intiative investigations to benefit his personal political itnerests in U.S., including probes related to rivals in 2020 election

@CourthouseNews - Did POTUS either directly or through "agents" use the power of his office or other tools of the fed. gov't to apply pressure to Zelensky in order to advance his own political interests, incl. leveraging a White House visit

@CourthouseNews Lastly:
- Did Trump and his admin try to "obstruct, suppress or cover up" information to conceal from Congress or the American people evidence about Trump's own conduct or actions

@CourthouseNews Note: As for who Republicans have said they want to call for testimony, thus far, Jim Jordan has said he wants the whistleblower to testify publicly.
