This right here is the biggest fight we’re in. And it’s absolutely a left vs right, Democrats vs Republicans fight.
It matters how we frame this. A lot of the left isn’t being realistic about the gap between the two major parties. They’re not treating the GOP’s authoritarianism seriously. And Reich is giving them permission to be apathetic if a “centrist” candidate wins the primary.
