🔥NEW #Impeachment witness Laura Cooper, Pentagon official, testified
1) Trump DIRECTED freeze on aid to Ukraine
2) Freeze was TIED to Trump's demand for Biden investigation
3) DOD told OMB (run my Mulvaney) #corruption was NOT an issue
4) She worried the freeze was ILLEGAL
Cooper's testimony is key b/c it shows "corruption" concern is a PRETEXT. She testified questions about corruption were answered in JUNE. Yet Trump continued to hold aid & push Ukraine to announce Biden + Ukraine-Not-Russia-Collusion disinformation, until Congress found out.
Mulvaney's claims & dates on "corruption concern" don't add up. He said aid was held until Trump was satisfied Ukraine was "doing better on corruption," which he said Zelensky satisfied on July call! So corruption not an issue by DOD in June & Z in July. But aid frozen til Sept🤨
