A Thread
It isn't just about being comfortable in who you are and believing in your own capabilities.
You also need to be able to recognize, understand, and accept your own shortcomings and weaknesses.
We experience self esteem, but self acceptance is something we actively do.
Therefore, self esteem isn't a component of self acceptance - it's a result of practicing it.
It's hard to feel confident in doing something that you've never done before.

You make space for error, which allows you to take it in stride and move beyond it.
This is the only way to actively learn, grow, and use your weaknesses to your advantage.
Allow calm observation towards all that actively helps or hinders your own progress.
With this perspective, you're able to reinforce what helps you and slowly replace what doesn't.
When you are unapologetically the person you are, you no longer need nor even seek the approval of other people.
This is the true, fundamental essence to creating and maintaining confidence.
Anything that you need to change can always be worked on and changed in the future.

My upcoming Conscious Confidence course is designed to help you build both.
