But on some days I can be communicating with over 8,700 people in a day and over the last 28 days I communicated with over 14,000 people on FB

The group is largely non-political as I know many are turned off by politics, wonder why?

I think politicians should be engaging with residents, helping them with problems, posting advice & given the demographics & security in my wards buildings social media is the easiest way to do that
