@ACLU @RAICESTEXAS These families fled here seeking a measure of the safety and opportunities we enjoy. Our government is taking away their children. Their babies. Newborns. We need to fight for them.

Each of us needs to do something. Find at least one thing and do it. Tweeting won’t save them.
@ACLU @RAICESTEXAS I’m part Jewish, and from a young age I learned about Nazi atrocities. Days like today it is particularly palpable that we’re already far down that road.

I’m grateful for the people who’ve dedicated themselves to stopping this.

The rest of us have a lot of work to do.

When one party lies constantly, reality becomes a partisan issue. Now it has a liberal bias, and heaven forbid the press appear guilty of that. And the Times is as guilty as anyone of framing matters of fact as matters of opinion.
