statement: “The MPS has received two allegations of electoral fraud and malpractice in relation to the 2019 General Election. The MPS Special Enquiry Team is responsible for investigating all such criminal allegations. Both allegations are currently being assessed.”

Worth saying that these complaints have been passed onto the MET by Labour peer Lord Falconer. They are being assessed before becoming a full blown investigation.
And that the Conservative party denies any impropriety whatsoever.

Quite the moment tonight. Never before in the history of our democracy has there been a head to head debate between the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition. As such, it’s very difficult to predict what impact it might have. #GE2019
The PM has most to lose, Corbyn to gain. Expectations will be high from voters for Boris Johnson. In many ways they still don’t know much about him but expect him to be funny and witty and dominant. But he really wasn’t stand out in the Tory debates earlier this year.
Corbyn meanwhile is good in these sort of debates, he’s had plenty of practice given the number of leadership challenges/hustings/tv debates he’s had to fight. So long as he keeps his cool.

Last time I was in Peterborough, for the by-election, this square was full of stands and activists, from every party. Today nothing but early Christmas shoppers. A key marginal. This election is so weird. #GE2019
Interesting. Ran into quite a few Conservative 2017 voters who can’t decide between the Brexit Party and the Tories.

Shows a) Farage standing in Lab target seats still costing Tories voters, could be decisive b) that Cons are lucky he stood down in the south.
Admittedly BXP had strong run in Peterborough in by election in June, so possible they are in the bloodstream here more than in most places.

NEW: @Nigel_Farage tells me he believes the PM’s effective Chief of Staff and close adviser Sir Eddie Lister personally attempted to bribe Brexit Party candidates to step down and was at the centre political “corruption” at “the heart of Downing St”.
Says he doesn’t regret standing down where he did “you can’t live life like that” but does say he is “angry” with how his party has been treated and how Downing St has behaved. Says he doesn’t expect anything to come of police investigation, for political reasons but “we’ll see”

Who wouldn't want control of our own laws?

British values shape British laws made by British lawmakers in British Parliaments elected by British voters

Just think about ABORTION: illegal in Northern Ireland and legal in the rest of the UK. If the EU controlled every aspect of our lives, how could that be?

The same applies to the age of concept which is 16 in the UK and from 14 to 18 in other EU countries

Then think about our laws on adoptions, allotments and ASBOs. They reflect British values and a British consensus (yes, there really is a UK Allotment Act)

So, just to preface this. I won't be talking much about Brexit here. The reason being - it's been done. To death. And to the detriment of debate about how dangerous Farage actually is, and what he actually believes. We'll touch on it, but it ain't front row centre.
It's hard to know where to start with Farage, frankly. After doing the research that I have on him, it's stunning to think that he's the favourite for the European Elections. Sorry, stunning? I meant horrifying. But let's start with the young Farage, and work our way from there.
