The range of albums they delivered in their peak time are unmatchable, even their average album in their peak will sound 10x better than current gen md's Hit no.

A side-side compilation year wise!

Though U1 started his career earlier than HJ (in 1997), let me start this side by side list from 2001, where Harris debuted with GVM in Minnale, his finest combo. that was the year Yuvan cld have possibly found his best combo too Selvaraghavan (Thullavado ilamai writer)!

While HJ directly fit into instant hit machine category appealing every section of audience, With Minnale ,12b ,Majnu

Yuvan finds a new route with experimentation & appealing to young audience more. Thullavadho Illamai had the instant connection with Youngsters then.

The number of hit tracks from above albums are damn high! When Harris poopol Varudify one with Flute in Minnale, Yuvan was therikavitufying like Neruppu koothakidu kaatho Koothadiku in other end.

HJ had just 1 film that year, but d album hits the bulls eye again & started one likebale combo "Vikram". The song "MoongilKadugale" gives him a new face, Even today many use tat flute piece as ringtone. Contd

Harris continues his super form, with 3 films that year. Amazing from his debut to 2003, he had not delivered a single average album. Every Song in the album went on to be a biggest hits!

UyrinUyire frm KakaKaka was trendy tat time, Aval Uzhaga Azhagiye registered HJ as class md, With Saamy HJ breaked tat & proved he can score for mass films too with his midas touch & How can one forget Tirunelveli alwada

2003 Yuvan

On other End yuvan's Kadhal Konden marked his first collaboration with Selvaraghavan! The first number i listend from film was "Devathayai Kanden Kadhalil Vizhunden" Wow ! Never know that this combo will turns out to be one iconic then and yuvans brilliant score.

Yuvan - 7G, Manmadhan

Harris continued his super form with Chellame, and Arasatchi too. Be the Kadhaliku Asaiyil or Oh Muhalai Silallai both had a Viral reach.

Bt the year belonged to u1 -7g gives that soultouching feel to every Music Lovers!

Who would have thought tht Shankar would join with composer other than ARR? it Happened. Yes for the first time he joined with a MD other than ARR and it is HJ.

folk Andankaka Kondakari, Western Kadhal Yaanai or Kannum Kannum or Carnatic Numbers Hj showed his versatility!

2005 does nt end here, why i call it as a maejestic year for him is other than Shankar film, He had Ullam Ketkumey where a Bit theme " Laiko Laima " Went viral, Not to forget Oh Maname. & yes GHANJINI hits every patti thotti, that too with a melody chuttum vizhi Chudare .. HJ 😎

2005 . Intially U1 was roped in for Totti Jaya, due to som reasons he quit. He even scoreda song ( Indha ooru) for which he was credited in title card. HJ filled the place & Thotta poweruda, Uyrie en Uyire & a tademark Gibberish Theme Omiyo Seego Nethi adi Thano happens. Contd.

Totti Jaya is only album Were both Harris and Yuvan involved or contributed in a single project.

2005 is an important year for Yuvan too. Pudupettai Happened that Year.

Yuvan and Selva exploerd an untravelled path muscially as well the film turns out as cult over the time.!.

It's an easy year for Harris, Unnale Unnale straight way turns out to be a blockbuster album. Every song turned to be a viral number June ponal , Unnale Unnale, mudal nal indru 🎼

Even Bit songs in Unnale Unnale turns out to be hits.

I was introduced to PachaikilMuthucharam to TV ads, that had addictive hook (Violin score) such a gorgeous track it is.

2008 is best for Yuvan too

Fm stations was busy replaying numbers from. Above albums as the songs from those had great repeat value. Those were viral and are instant hits specilaly with Youngsters

HJ had Ayan, every songs from album turns out to be instant hit, Mass Intro pala plaakira pagal nee

Yuvan had viral hits this year. Engeyum Kadhal was calm and very refreshing but Yuvan who had more hits during this year from multiple album. Paiya had great repeat value tracks!

With Ko, HJ delivered Ennamo Edho and Yuvan Viladu Mankatha, most importantly it was appreciated widely for Bg socre.

Post 2008 itself, Yuvan and Harris was the primary choice for producers for biggies . Ivar illana avar than scenario. Endha padam announce panalum first question was Harris ah Yuvan ah depends on that the film will get a face.

2012 -

Yuvan : Billa 2

If Mankatha gave a new face to Ajith, It was Thuppaki for Vijay. Both are important film for respective actors and Yuvan and Harris played major part in those films with their score.

Usually whoever composes for Vijay will deliver chartbusters. But I don't remember any film of him has been talked much for BG score. To My knowledge Thuppaki started it. More than songs Harris was appreciated for Bg score.

Villain Theme, Shoot Bg score. Smoke scene . Fantastic

For Yuvan rowdy baby, IPY, Peranbu.

I wish they return back storngly sometimes soon! Will continue this thread with some interesting facts.

Facts:

HJ & U1 did not worked with " SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth ". Kamal has sung for u1 in pudupettai, and Harris scored for Kamal in VV. Only composers in their prime time didn't utlize it..

Their previous (It,Deva, Arr vidyasagar) and current (sana,Ani) gen .

Whenever a New album of Harris or Yuvan got released the first thing ppl will check out is that who has sung.

Yuvanians will look out for the song sung by Yuvan

And

Harris fans will look out for Singer Karthik and if that is a suriya film. Karthik song irunthe aganum.

There is this popular opinion from fan side that Yuvan should limit his quantity, work with limited ppl avoid low budget flicks.

But wait if he had does that, we could have missed some important film makers, Whom we praise today. Yuvan is a silent king maker in that aspect!

Yuvan is also know for the Jollymax numbers!
