Adam Schiff says that public support for impeachment has grown dramatically in the past two months.

He conveniently left out the polls from this week showing a decrease in support, especially among independents, after finally allowing public testimonies.

One thing this Impeachment Inquiry has made clear:

An unelected cabal of pasty, privileged, pretentious Ivy-Leauge assholes believe they *alone* have power over American foreign policy.

They are *enraged* that a President dare follow The Constitution & institute his own policy
READ Article 2, Section II of the damn Constitution.

The President of the United States sets all foreign policy. Period. Full-stop.

If you don’t like it I just don’t care.

It’s in the founding document.

So quit your pearl-clutching & whining about “norms.”

I have close friends with DACA—I fear their right to be here being taken away.
I'm a Latino parent—I fear my child will be discriminated against worse than I was
I'm the survivor of an in-person death threat against me & my family, from a MAGA extremist who hated me just for who I am—I fear him or another carrying out those threats.

I'm an attorney—I fear the erosion of the rule of law.

It's time I had my say about #Impeachment, DJT's obstructionistic tactics, and @SpeakerPelosi's not pushing for an inquiry yet.

When AG Barr released the redacted version of the report to Congress, he did *not* include any of the underlying documents on which Mueller relied.

Just like a lawsuit, a case has to be built based on facts and evidence. Both the Intelligence Committee and the Judiciary Committee have been working their way through the system, including voting to hold AG Barr in Contempt of Congress. DJT has been fighting them in court.

Meanwhile, the Ways and Means Committee has also been working on getting DJT's tax returns. One of the Committees has also been working on getting records subpoenaed from DJT's financial management firm and from Deutche Bank, known for Russian money laundering.

There's no denying that #impeachment talk has accelerated over the past few months. But I'm not convinced that this past week was really such a Rubicon when considered in broader perspective, or that a handful of well-argued essays in liberal magazines are the drivers of change.
