This is just unfathomable arrogance and lack of introspection.
If what he's saying is true and racism is a problem, then why wouldn't you apologise for the antisemitism found in your party and to those who no longer feel able to support it?
The only possible reason is that he doesn't think there was any and that those Jewish people who have spoken out about it are wrong not to support him.
Which consequently means that he's not willing to do anything about racism where he has the power to stop it.
Just really quite obscenely irresponsible.
It takes nothing to apologise. Absolutely nothing. But he's too trapped in his blinkered trench warfare to even give that much. At heart, I really think he believes this whole thing is a conspiracy by the right wing press to damage him.
