4)Pressures put on teaching are not allowing the necessary transformation of education that is needed to challenge the colonial and racialised nature of the curriculum design and the marginalisation of other voices. (6/11) #IELCollective

5)The increasing casualisation of teaching follows directly from the erosion of labour conditions sponsored through IEL global norms in other sectors of the global economy. (7/11) #IELCollective

6)Structural inequalities in the academic sector (in terms of gender, race, class and disabilities) reflect the socio-economic order sponsored through IEL institutional developments over the last 30 years. (8/11) #IELCollective
