Duterte says he fired Robredo after Senator Kiko Pangilinan dared him to do so: Sabi niya 'Why don't you just fire Leni?', so pinagbigyan ko. Idol ko si Pangilinan, sinabi niya i-fire ko, edi finire ko.

Duterte on criticisms on drug war: Stupid remarks coming from an empty head. Anong palpak? The war on drugs is a continuing war.

Duterte to critics: Anong palpak? Kailan naging palpak? Kayo ang palpak.

Duterte on launching his anti-drug campaign: I expected everybody was working well, I did not know when I arrived, when I got to look into the record then I realized I was fighting against my own government.

Duterte: The police, the Customs were dipping their dirty fingers into it. 'Yan ang hindi ko alam, pati mga generals.

Duterte to Robredo: Leni, look. Hindi ako pro-Allan. Wag ka tumakbo ng Presidente. Wala ka talagang alam.

Duterte: Disgrasya kayo pag si Leni ang... Subukan ninyo.

Duterte: The human rights commission… I rebuked them. As a matter of fact, sabi ko you cannot have jurisdiction over my person.

Duterte says he has fired Robredo ‘in his mind’ as early as her first day.

Duterte: I fired her in my mind. Noon pa, first time pa lang nung sinabi niyang punta siya sa US Embassy.

Will Duterte appoint another anti-drug czar? Nadala na ako. Wag na yang czar-czar.

Duterte on his health: My health is deteriorating every time you ask me, there's additional affliction.

Duterte: No, the Constitution does not require me (to speak about my health).

Duterte: In terms of performing my functions as President, I am alright.

Duterte, responding to a question about his health, says he is going to ride a motorcycle after the interview.

Duterte on 2022 presidential elections plans: Wala na ako, hindi na ako makatakbo.

Duterte says he is not grooming anyone for the 2022 presidential elections.

Duterte on whether he will endorse his daughter Inday Sara Duterte for President if she decides to run: I told her do not run. She will not run.

Duterte on his possible successor: Let him find the qualities that the people are looking for.

Duterte: Wala akong suggestion. This country will continue without me, starting it or stopping it. Hindi naman itong mundo hihinto para sa akin. Let the other guy find out for himself.

Duterte on his leadership style: Wala naman akong sinuntok na congressman, bakit sinsabi na authoritarian ako?

Asked about his verbal orders, Duterte again compares himself with Robredo.

Duterte: That is what makes a big difference between me and Leni because when I talk, I talk about the law itself.

He cites his verbal order to ban vaping and importation of vapes.

Duterte: 'Yung vaping may nicotine so by itself it is like a cigarette so you ought not to be using it in public.

Duterte: I cannot wait on Congress because ang Congress knows that it is nicotine.

Duterte says Congress should know that vape, which he calls a ‘contraband,’ should not be sold.

There are pending bills in Congress that seek to hike taxes on vapes.

Duterte: That chemical did not pass FDA and it is being sold to the public and all over the world it is being banned so I have the right to say do not sell it

Duterte on vapes: It can cause health problems. It is my sworn duty to protect public health.

Duterte: I suffered the consequences of smoking and nicotine.

Duterte on banning vapes: I will not allow people to remember me as a President who did nothing to help them.

Duterte: I will scare you, or would you rather I should just kill you outright?
