During my NYSC, I met a girl who came with packs of antibiotics, and anytime you made to go to the toilet, she’d bring it out and say,
“Babe, collect. I don’t know how you people use public toilet without antibiotics o. Prevention is better than cure”

A lot of patients out there believe that when they have a common cold/flu or any minor infection, there must be an antibiotic within their prescription.

Antibiotics are only prescribed by Drs when laboratory tests have been done and particular organisms have been cultured from your samples.

You don’t go about treating what you don’t know.
1) Your illness can get worse if you’re treating amiss
2) Drugs have side effects

This is not a state anyone wants to be in. This happens when one has abused antibiotics over time and the bacteria become very resistant to the effect of the antibiotics.
When medication fails... life can fail too.

4) Lowered Immunity;
Antibiotics are drugs that weaken or kill bacteria. When used without cause, they kill off good bacteria which protects us, and lower the body immunity and ability to fight common infections.
