As I’ve discussed previously, this is why I knew Elizabeth Warren when she was Prof. Warren. I was paying attention to her work before she was called to Washington, before her CFPB became reality, before Republicans opposed her running the CFPB after creating it.
Despite this, she continued forward, figuring out how she could do the most good to improve the county. She took a big step to that end by kicking Scott Brown out of the Senate and providing real leadership in his place.
And now, she’s running for president, continuing to press her progressive vision for the country. It’s tough, running for president, but she’s doing it. And I continue backing her because I want her ideas, her vision, her humanity in the White House. We need it.
