I guess this is why Rep. @AOC blocked me on TW… because she hates when I call out her lies… she forgets, blocking me doesn’t stop me from seeing her tweets, and being blocked isn’t gonna stop me from exposing her false narratives to you. 
@AOC FACT CHECK: The Trump admin new rule does NOT change the work requirement for SNAP. The existing rule states that an able-bodied adult without dependents can receive only 3mo of SNAP in a 36mo period... unless the person meets the 20hr/wk requirement.
@AOC ALSO, the existing work-for-welfare requirement for SNAP It was originally signed into law by DEMOCRAT Bill Clinton & then re-authorized in 2008.
@AOC The new Trump admin rule does NOT change the work requirements. It disallows states to issue waivers (to circumvent the standards) unless the unemployment in a certain area is over 10% or jobs are not otherwise available to people.
@AOC This new Trump admin rule ONLY applies to able-bodied adults without dependents. That means the new rules DOES NOT IMPACT children, parents, people with dependents, or disabled people.
@AOC AOC was 19 years old when her father died, and she says she was a student. So plausibly, her mother could've claimed her as a dependent. Which means this new rule would NOT have applied to her family.
@AOC The purpose of this rule is to prevent waste, fraud & abuse. Making this change will save taxpayers $5.5 BILLION over 5 years. Imagine how $5.5B can help people who ACTUALLY need help, instead of people taking advantage of the system. But of course, Democrats ignore that.
