IPSO has ruled that a major claim in the Tory campaign was based on a total lie, fabricated by the Mail on Sunday. But because it took *5 months* to reach this decision, it won't be published till AFTER the election. So we've decided to break the embargo theguardian.com/media/2019/dec…
This case should have been so easy to determine. The Mail on Sunday published a flat-out falsehood about our #LandForTheMany report, that was weaponised into a massive Tory attack line: "Corbyn is coming for your home!!". The 5 months it took to resolve is inexcusable.
I've never been involved in breaking an embargo before, but in this case I see it as fully justified. A massive political lie should not be allowed to stand across an election. Sorry, IPSO, but the truth is what matters.

Lots of people on the left are piling into each other over the election result. Please remember: this tendency was part of the reason.
Yes, we need to work out where to go now, but let's do it without rancour.
We all want a kinder country - we should start as we mean to go on.
Let's start refuting that old adage, which is all too often true:
"The right looks for converts; the left looks for traitors."
Print it out, put it on your wall, and remember, please, not to fall into this trap.
As well as being kinder to each other on the left, it's essential that we don't insult people who voted right. The worst thing you can do, if you want a better politics, is to call your opponent gammon.

Warren with constant help of media took months to reach the top. And is going down far quicker at the first bad media cycle. The new media darling is Buttigieg. He will go down more faster when the scrutiny comes. Oh, and it's coming.
Corporate media may be united against Bernie, but in no way they're united behind one corporate candidate. And it's not a two person race like 2016, everyone except Bernie will take shots at candidates who are rising. And media will be forced to follow up.
And about Iowa, once Buttigieg too tastes the negative media coverage, it will be a clear 4 way race. And i expect at least 50K increase in turnout from 2016. It will be a mess with too many candidates in caucus hall. The most trained campaign will win. Guess whose it will be?

In 2017, I emailed every single House and Senate Democrat office, asking them to take a meeting with someone who speaks Hungarian and knows @SebGorka. I wanted to correct the record and explain that they were being lied to by hard-left activists. Not a single one took a meeting.
