Did Christopher Steele get caught in the Trump honey trap much earlier than we expected?
Did he try to compromise the Trump family for his Russian friends only to have the sting reversed upon him?
As many already know, at least 3 generation of Trumps have participated in sting operations for the FBI. All while posing as ethically questionable targets for bad guys to compromise...
So Steele was working against Ivanka?
Seems Steele & Ivanka Trump met in 2007 two years before he retired from MI6. Then in 2010-2012 Steele tried to work for the Trump Organization for jobs in Russia & China. Looks like the Trump team wasn't interested in working with Steele...
Was Steele really trying to stop Trump? Is his new found love for the Trump's a cover story to hide his participation in the set up job?
This sounds like a cover story, an excuse for why he wasn't biased against Trump.
It sounds like he wanted a cut of business from questionable real estate deals that Trump used to help the FBI run stings. Was it profit? Or was he trying to identify Trump & the FBI's network?
This adds a few more wrinkles to the entire story, was Steele trying to sabotage FBI investigations from 2007 while he was still MI6?

Or did he start that effort later?
