The "Cabal" (at an Eid el Kabir banquet somewhere in Abuja) unanimously agree that Atiku Abubakar should have his turn in Aso Rock.

Afterall, he had conducted himself in a gentlemanly manner despite being robbed of the 2019 Elections, and had invested a fortune in past Campaigns for both parties. He's also grown popular and has caught the admiration of the populace as a democrat;/2

(Since he didn't call for the "soaking of the baboons and monkeys in blood" after the 2019 Elections).
All hands are on the deck.
But the "Cabal" have a condition:/3

1. Atiku must focus on his Administration alone, and not go about prosecuting or "persecuting" the misdeeds of members of the Buhari Administration. No EFCC dragging, arrests or Court Cases. Bygones must be bygones.
2. Atiku must do only one term./4

3. Atiku must ensure (at any cost) that the South East produces the next President in 2027.
4. Atiku's running mate must be a "Cabal" loyalist from the South East./5

Fast forward to Oct 1st 2022. Quiet Saturday.
At another Banquet in commemoration of Independence (with the rich & Mighty in attendance). Atiku (having accepted the conditionalities of July 10th) announces his bid for 2023, flanked by a certain Rochas Okorocha as running mate./6

(The "Cabal" are scared of Peter Obi, so they'd rather do with a South East man they can trust to do their bidding). The agitations of the South East  must be assuaged.
Osinbajo is also somewhere in the gathering, crying like a canary. The "Cabal" have not being "fair" to him,/7

despite his unflinching "loyalty" to Baba in the face of Baba's abhorrent tyranny, putting his Professorial legacy in the Legal profession on the line for his "turn". (Note: Lawal Daura of DSS is still part of the "Cabal" at this time, and will take his pound of flesh)./8

Osinbajo's loyalists from the South West who had patiently waited while salivating for an Osinbajo Presidency are on verbal rampage in the hall, crying foul, threatening gehenna or apocalypse, vowing to unleash the virile South West Media Bazooka. Nobody pays them attention./9

January 20th 2023.
Atiku Campaigns are all over the National airwaves. Atiku is obviously coasting to victory. The lines are falling in pleasant places for him. He has all the backing. Atiku haters from the South East have no choice but to love him. 2027 cannot be jeopardized./10

Atiku loyalist from the South West have no choice but to unlook the choice of Rochas Okorocha as VP,  despite his iberibeistic antecedents. For the North, it's a win-win situation. Presidency, back to back./11

May 29 2023. A very Warm Monday.
FG declares public holiday. Atiku is sworn-in, televised across all media outlets in the Country. Questions abound about the unlikelihood of Atiku prosecuting the many "evils" of the last Administration. Atiku loyalists make 360 degree U-turn./12

They are now in Government. They can't tweet or post radically like they did from 2018-2022. However, they decide to still criticise once in while. They can't afford to be as brazenly stupid and cold-hearted as the BMC./13

Dr. Joe Abah @DrJoeAbah is also somewhere, shocked and amazed at how tables turned, folks, who hitherto often labelled him as "Fencist", suddenly develope frozen fingers, and hardly tweet or post anything radical./14

Meanwhile, the BMC guys are out of power. AMC replaces BMC. The era of unlooking is over. They make a 360 degree U-turn, criticising Atiku's every move, day and night. /15

Those who made enough money to last a lifetime hibernate into temporary oblivion,  while those who didn't get a good bite from the cake commence a "vicious vitriol."
Atiku's Media Head responds immediately and labels them as "Wailing Wailers"./16
