1/3 CBDC's will NOT be used for cross border txns, they have said this repeatedly and at Swell conference from regulators. CBDC's will be used privtely domestically to hide txns off a public ledger. You will then use a bridge like #XRP to settle along the same rails anywhere
2/3 in the world in any currency. Now you have the security of a blockchain, privacy of a stable coin, and the liquidity and versatility of an asset that levels the playing field for all. Why is #XRP needed? The same reason it's cumbersome to send money cross borders today.
3/3 and the same reason CBDC's do nothing for liquidity, they're simply just the old currencies able to run on new rails and interact with new/other assets. Now do you see why interoperability is so important?
