Didn't Erdogan really go after Gulen because Gulen exposed the corruption/money-laundering, which, the HalkBank case corroborated? #IranSanctions
1/14: Turkish corruption probe row deepens

"Many believe the arrests and subsequent police dismissals reflect a feud within Turkey's ruling AK Party - between those who back Mr Erdogan and supporters of Fethullah Gulen..."

Pastor Brunson on a plane back to U.S. 10/12/18:

Putin snatches Ukrainian prisoners the following month (11/18).

Timing here is weird.

Reza Zarrab's money laundering for Turkey, went through multiple countries....

Reza Zarrab's money laundering touched Malta:

"The Maltese bank and the shadowy world of Iran sanctions busting

Iran-born banker [Ali Sadr] who was suing murdered journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia now in custody in US"

irishtimes.com/business/finan…
"Mr Sadr’s indictment casts rare light on alleged elaborate schemes that have been created by Iranian entities to evade sanctions. It follows the conviction in January of a Turkish banker in a US sanctions case involving fraudulent billion-dollar gold-for-food transactions."
OK. Let me back up a bit. Recall, Rudy was trying to swap Zarrab for Pastor Brunson.....

Brunson gets released...Magnistky Sanctions against *TURKISH justice Ministers* get lifted. WOW.

Does Putin see this, and get an idea in his head? To use prisoners as a lever?

Is it weird that we were talking about the Ukrainian sailors being swapped *at the same time* Trump was trying to strong arm Zelensky?

9/7/19: Russia and Ukraine Swap Dozens of Prisoners, in a ‘First Step to Stop the War’

Relatives of Ukrainian prisoners freed by Russia in the exchange greeting them upon their arrival in Kyiv on Saturday."

I just want to connect that we Turkish money laundering running through Malta...via Zarrab, the HalkBank banker, Sadr and their other buddies, above....

And Russian money laundering running through Malta... with Mifsud, which interests us:

Do the weapons purchases of Turkey from Russia involve money laundering as well? Or are they essentially just snubbing their noses at Trump - because they know they can get away with it b/c he's compromised by *both* countries?

So back to prisoner swapping around 10, 18 and 11/18....

Devin Nunes goes to visit Libyan General Khalifa Haftar, at the end of last year (doesn't disclose it until last week):

That Libyan General that Devin Nunes says he visited (before he popped up in Malta), Khalifa Haftar...he's Russian backed:

Erdogan says Turkey won't be silent over mercenaries in Libya

reuters.com/article/us-lib…
"President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that Turkey will not stay silent over Russian-backed mercenaries supporting Khalifa Haftar in Libya, as Moscow voiced concerns over possible Turkish military deployment to Libya in support of Haftar’s enemies."
"Through the group named Wagner [PUTIN'S CHEF], they are literally working as Haftar’s mercenaries in Libya. You know who is paying them,” Erdogan was quoted by broadcaster NTV as saying on a flight back from Malaysia."
“That is the case [that General Khalifa Haftar is backed up by Wagner - Putin's chef's merc army], and it would not be right for us to remain silent against all of this. We have done our best until now, and will continue to do so,” he added."

Weird.
"Earlier on Friday, Russia said it was very concerned by the prospect of Turkey sending troops to Libya, adding that the deal on military cooperation between Ankara and Tripoli raised many questions for Moscow, according to the Interfax news agency."
"The Kremlin said on Tuesday Erdogan and Russia’s Vladimir Putin would discuss Ankara’s potential military deployment to Libya during talks in Turkey next month."

Short little jump for Devin from Tripoli to Malta, too....

Nunes said he was in Malta to discuss security and intelligence issues related to Malta, the EU and Libya, in addition a repatriation ceremony for an armed services member.

He says it was *significant.* Why not mention it previous? I'm stuck on this.

From Devin Nunes CNN complaint:

"And, significantly, Plaintiff participated in a repatriation ceremony for a fallen World
War II Army Air Corps service member, whose remains were handed over for return to
the U.S. for DNA testing, to alert family members, and for proper burial."
When one does a Google search of Devin Nunes+DNA: No hay NADA.

Wouldn't that be something he'd want to follow up on? Like talk about this in the U.S. Media. No? Weird.

Not sure exactly what is going, but these things are connected. As always, more to be revealed in time.

Trump Admin Fights Bill Punishing Turkey for Its Russian Deal

(I don’t know what’s up with all the typos in this thread. I’m not drinking scotch like Rudy, I swear! 🤓)
Almost forgot. There’s a Lev Parnas and Turkey connect: he supposedly referred Turkey as a client to Pam Bondi’s firm, and recvd a finder’s fee for it: $45K.
And we cant forget the phone calls between Parnas and Nunes’ phone in 4/19, (which led to Nunes disclosing his trips to Libya and Malta last year in the first place). Parnas claims he met Nunes in Vienna 12/18, Nunes denies it.
