@of4NByThePeople @HoarseWisperer @samstein @brooklynmarie In civilized countries, costs exist the same as in the US, but they are irrelevant when deciding whether or not to treat someone. Those decisions are not made on the basis of financial considerations, but purely from a medical POV.

That is why costs are irrelevant and paid for 100%, mostly by insurers or taxes.
