Fars News, an IRGC-influenced Iran state media org, says "sources" tell them Iran firing "ballistic missiles" at US base in Iraq. Al Asad Airbase targeted. It's a joint US-Iraq base in Anbar province.

In other words, Iran confirms it's attacking US base.
It remains unclear whether this is a ceremonial response to give Iran a way out of the escalation game or if this is a full-scale attack. No word on casualties yet.

Word of advice: don't trust *any* MidEast media reports on this development. Trust but verify legit sources.
