I want to echo this as loudly as possible...

Too many ppl are formulating theories in order to explain the end result, concluding that we had no deaths bc Iran didn’t intend it.

Justifying the end result by shape-shifting cause-effect relationships is... well, it’s stupid.
Here is a satellite image I saw from @JLWilding - maybe he can drop the link to the source...

These are missiles that hit targets; idk how anyone can downplay the significance of this.

The fact that we didn’t have casualties doesn’t downplay it, either.
It’s fine to formulate and test theories; it’s difficult to imagine how they launched an attack like this that resulted in ZERO casualties.

I’m not suggesting I have an explanation, either.

I’m saying that we should take care to not bend facts into a preferable ‘reality’.
If you believe in Occam’s Razor, at all, the evidence suggests that they tried (and failed) to kill US Troops.

There are tons of interesting theories floating - explore them, test them... but let’s all stay grounded.
I don’t doubt for a single second that we have ‘back-channel’ comms in Iran...

But having those in place, in addition to other intel gathering methods, is a far cry from assigning ‘intent’.

Again —> cause & effect!

Can we say that the British didn’t intend to take over West Point (Rev. War) and then deliver a crushing defeat?

Afterall, Benedict Arnold would have handed it over?

Of course not - it’s absurd! GW’s spies caught on... and we held West Point!

Cause —> Effect
I’m simply saying that some people are shape-shifting ‘cause’ into this Iran scenario...
