If you've already applied, you don't have to do anything. Hurrah! You will be contacted about your application, & if successful in getting to our workshop stage, you’ll be sent the full list of production companies taking part & asked to select one to talk about at the workshop.

You have two weekends to apply starting today! So here's your homework research the full list of @PactUK production partners:

Research doesn't need to take long if you chunck it down you can do a bit each day.

Suggestion:
Today, read the application form bit.ly/PactIDTS2020 & write draft of questions you can answer.

Next depending on how much you can get done, research companies

Click on the twitter handles ⬆️
go to their websites & look at the TV shows the companies produce. Simple yes and no to: "Do I want to work on that show?" and "Do I like the genres that they work in?"

No point putting down a documentary company when you want to do drama.. 😉

Next, hit up a friend, mentor or family member now and ask them when (date & time) they can look at you application to check for grammar and typos (obviously depending on your needs & abilities).

Whatever they you, give that's your FIRST deadline.

Then of the shows that you like, pick three you like, watch them and take notes. That's one question done. Hurrah.

Next research the roles that you could be trained in #tvReseacher or #tvProductionCoordinator

Ask friends & fam what suits your skills and personality? Then be honest w/yourself & decide what role YOU think is best for you.

Rinse and repeat with all the other questions: Research, think, draft and check.

There are seven "real questions" of those only four require "work", but that's OK because you want to work in TV, right? 😉

Your personal deadline approaches, give yourself a day to do nothing let's it all perculate in your brain, you might come up with new and better answers.

If so, add these, and send off to your application checker to erm, check your application...

So 19th is D Day. SEND APPLICATION (yes you have Monday but you know, life...)

Answer all questions, obvs, then press send and pray (or not) to your god/s or the gods of TV and @Twitter whatever works for you.

Then sit back in the knowledge that youve completed one of your #2020goals
