Unpopular opinion:
Big companies want Washington D.C. to create legislation for their industries vs. different laws at the state and local level.
I prefer the opposite. Different laws at the state and local level make monopolies and concentrations of power harder to solidify.

Not everything should be about efficiency and convenience. At this point in time it's more crucial to empower and restore communities across the country than it is to make everything a hyper-efficient homogeneous blob.
We've destroyed the country by allowing the pendulum to swing too far in one direction. Hollowed out communities of despair with a Walmart, Dollar Stores, Amazon boxes on the porch and opioids.

I don’t give a crap about corporations. I do care about people and I want more people to be empowered. We need to focus on how to make this happen.
We’ve reached the utopia of oligarchy, corporatism and centralization. It failed. Time to reverse course.
