After a week in Pakistan what have I learned about CPEC (Belt and Road in Pakistan)? Well, clearer than before, the realization that CPEC is not an investment project, but a general framework giving meaning to economic policy
In that sense CPEC has to be compared to the EU for Central and Eastern European countries or globalization for Singapore, Taiwan or South Korea
Which is of course the main idea of my book - good to see it reflected in Pakistan, which is a few steps ahead of other countries
