If people were not so deeply disturbed by Trump they would recognize that in this case he acted with subtlety: instead of being tricked into retaliating against Iraqis for the attack on the Baghdad embassy, he turned around and killed Soleimani instead
One shudders to think what W would have done in the same situation: close the embassy, send 50K troops to Iraq, put in place all sort of repressive and cruel measures against normal Iraqis - and leave Soleimani alone
Soleimani clearly thought he was dealing with W
