In 1992 I started taking interest in Israel and very quickly thereafter became aware of the immense hate called antisemitsm directed against the Jews and their state.
So this year it's been 28 years of discussing Israel and antisemitsm whenever the opportunity arose.
1/
Talked to church ppl, "the man on the street", politicians, antisemites, Israel-haters, co-workers, at work, in the swimming pool, at a café, in church, at home, in others homes, written debate articles, commented on news, Facebook, the last few years on Twitter....
2/
All this time most of the antisemitic hate has been directed against the Jewish state and is the result of people buying into Palestinian lies.

The main reason for antisemitsm being an epidemic today is decades of Palestinian Holocaust denial, antisemitic propaganda,
3/
history revisionism and so on.

The 2nd biggest reason for today's enormous problem of antisemitsm is decades of politicians promoting Palestinian lies.

NOT "the man on the street".

He's usually not interested in social issues or ideologically driven. Just trying to live
4/
a decent life.

It's the politicians blindly supporting a cause that's to it's nature is both antisemitic and religious that are the 2nd biggest reason for where we are today.

And politicians NOT willing to address their past mistakes and change their politics
5/
towards Israel and the Palestinian Authority should not be trusted to fight against antisemitsm.

If you're not attacking the cause you are Don Quixote fighting windmills and it's only working in your own imagination but not in reality.

Following are few necessary steps
6/
in the fight against antisemitsm:

1. Revise the politics towards Israel and the Palestinian state. No more aid to the PA as long as it pays, and encourages, terrorists. Complete reformation of UNRWA. Unanimous condemnation of all antisemitsm within the PA.
7/
2. Education. Antisemitsm must become obligatory in all schools possible in UN member states. The history of Israel needs to be taught alongside with the history of the Jews and antisemitsm. These 3 are linked together.

3. Special focus on the Holocaust. How and why it
8/
was possible. The years before and after. (Many are completely unaware of the effects it had afterwards. i.e. that survivors were committing suicide decades later)

Since the creation of IHRA, 20 years ago, antisemitsm has only increased.

A change of strategy is needed.
End/
"... towards Israel and the Palestinian Authority" it was supposed to be.
