(THREAD) Schiff warned America last night that Trump might do with China—agree to a clandestine deal to get dirt on Biden, not just inviting but accepting foreign election interference—what he tried to do in Ukraine. The problem? He already did. I hope you'll read on and RETWEET. 
1/ In June 2019, at the same time that Trump was telling ABC News that he would accept foreign intelligence on a political rival, he held a call with Xi Jinping of China in which he discussed Biden's "political prospects" *and* made a key promise on trade.
2/ Then, Trump's agent for secret deals with other nations on Biden—Giuliani—had a meltdown over Biden and China, falsely claiming "the Bidens got $1.5 billion from China, which had to be a deliberate act, on the part of China, to buy the vice presidency." mediamatters.org/rudy-giuliani/…

4/ As Trump makes this ask of China, he's in *lease negotiations* with China's state-owned ICBC bank, whose Trump Tower lease makes it the tower’s "biggest office tenant" and the one "paying more than any other major tenant in Trump Tower per square foot." americanprogress.org/issues/securit…
5/ Trump is also, of course, in the midst of trade negotiations with China—a trade war *he* began, and which he'd already commingled with Biden in June 2019 by discussing the 2020 election *in the midst of* negotiating how he'd handle discussing China's Hong Kong crisis publicly.
6/ Just *days* after Trump asks China for Biden intel, the DAILY BEAST reports Trump's ask has been *granted*—China has handed over Biden intel to a Trump representative *precisely* as Trump requested. China has responded to Trump as quickly as Russia did. thedailybeast.com/michael-pillsb…
7/ Per the DAILY BEAST, Trump's top China expert—and one of his representatives on trade—Michael Pillsbury receives, while in Beijing on a trip Trump sent him on, "intelligence on Hunter Biden," getting it "the same week Trump publicly urged Beijing to investigative Biden’s son."
8/ Pillsbury tells FINANCIAL TIMES, "I got quite a bit of background on Hunter Biden from the Chinese." FT says per Pillsbury it "relate[s] to a $1.5B payment from the Bank of China"—a figure that "matches the amount that Trump last week claimed Hunter Biden received from China."

10/ So there you go: it took me only *10 tweets* to show that we need an impeachment inquiry *now* over whether Trump did the *same thing with China* that he did with Ukraine, and indeed initiated the impeachable offense during the *same period* he was shaking down Zelensky. /end
