I’ve been waiting to see an outrage. They have ruined the future of the youth & dependents and it is time to take the winds off the sail of those who’s labored. But the village of unemployed, underemployed and casual workers can’t understand the implication of this! #FixSociety
It is understandable that those with the energy to fight have no jobs. Those on the job can not fight lest they lose that which they have over an issue they believe they have no control over. Our legislators are rubber stamps & will approve whatever inanity the Executive push.
A prodigal admin that lack accountability and care for humanity declare, after fleecing our collective patrimony, that the next agenda is to pounce on Pensions and the people say Amen?!

Thank you for your objectivity Distinguished sir. This however raises a whole lot of questions as to the essence of having a Supreme Court if not for its unique role of being the interpreter of the constitution & other laws in the country EQUITABLY! #FixSociety 🚨
We must not forget that a Supreme Court as constituted as ours in recent time, that mainly seek technicalities to favor certain agenda is denigrating our constitutional democracy & ruins the value, development and healthy functioning cum preservation of our democracy.
Are we saying that INEC couldn’t have been called to order or made to present what is lacking for justice to be served and seen to be served even when the total number of votes is more than total accredited voters at the election? Is this Justice, Fairness and Equity?! 🤔

From the day I decided to take responsibility and stop living for self, I inadvertently positioned myself for perpetual work for humanity in a classless space. What do I mean? Teachers have the luxury of having their students in classes & batches for evaluation. I don’t.
Coupled with the fact that we live in a clime where people are inflicted with short term memory losses and mostly willfully blind, you can imagine how often you will have to repeat yourself to get heard. So here I go again as said a decade ago. 👉🏽
A problem unattended have a propensity to become a crisis. Before I jump into the leadership problem, let me talk about the most critical problem based on the village of people affected. Please you are NOT created to go to school just to qualify to receive salaries.

I was about twelve having grown to watch my dad come home quarterly from Abuja to empty his purse in order to offset all the backlog of bills cum fulfill all the wish lists of his four children. For my mum & siblings this is part of the responsibility of being a Dad. #Fatherhood
In as much as I loved my dad for being responsible having lived within his means as an executive civil servant or repute, I’ve wished to believe all that he did. His impeccable records and life of integrity can’t be erased but the truth remains that our world has changed.
In my father’s days, working as a bureaucrat was a life purpose that rewards with gratuity and life pensions once you put in the work and advance in your career till retirement. But those jobs are extinct now. Even where their shadows exist, no promise is guaranteed.

As I began my conversation with the 2 good Officers responding to a man I had encountered on #ThePeoplesBridge, who was aggressive, abusive, foul-mouth, and just rude.

The 1st thing I informed the Officers of, so there was no errors in what was going 2 happen was "I am NOT taking my Banners down, so don't even go there. I am going 2 be here for another 30 minutes.

If some 'crank' thinks his 'taking the lazy way out' & calling y'all is going 2 change this fact- It's Not".
I continued w/ "If he thinks his calling CPD was going 2 have me "Not offer Hope" 2 Chicago today...He is confused, because I do- & I am going 2 today as well.

We all know that Ondo State is the hot bed of cannabis cultivation in Nigeria. We know how to grow it and it thrives well in the Sunshine State. With an estimated value of $145 Billion in 2025, we would be shortchanging ourselves if we failed t tap into the Legal Marijuana Market
Our focus now is Medical Marijuana cultivation in controlled plantations under the full supervision of the @ndlea_nigeria. I strongly implore the FG to take this seriously as it is a thriving industry that will create 1000's of Jobs for our youth & spur Economic Diversification.
While you are all getting excited at the prospects of developing the weed industry, Ondo State businesses and unemployed youth should look into these opportunities and apply today at ondostate.gov.ng/ion

For those who don't know my story (a thread):

I gave birth on the 1st of January 2019 to a beautiful baby girl completely unaware of what the following days had in store for us both.

Both Boo Boo and I had complications for a whole month.

Labour started early that day. The contractions woke me up. When I went to the loo to pee, I saw brown, slimy discharge after wiping myself.

This didn't look right. I remember my gynae told me if I see anything different, I should know I'm in labour.

My gut knew I was. Upon arrival at the hospital, I found out that my gynae was on leave because his daughter had an accident. The only doctors available were the 2 on-call in-house gynaes.

I have had PDs mentor grad students. It's important to check with both to make sure the mentoring is going well. Also let the student know the PD won't write the letter of Rec if the student doesn't want that.
Also, to any PD who abuses students this way: you suck. Stop. Never joke to an international student about deportation. It's not funny, ever. If you are someone who sees this behavior, don't encourage it, and if possible, report it.
Student 15: I felt that my MS advisor was verbally abusive. I frequently felt like a failure and it made it so that I was scared to go to him if something went wrong. Which of course made him more mad. 1/3
