Canada, China, & the Coronavirus

1) This thread is meant to highlight a timeline of events that connect the Canadian National Microbiology Lab, certain infectious diseases, and China. I'm offering no conclusions, just presenting information.

2) A coronavirus a kind of common virus that causes an infection in your nose, sinuses, or upper throat. Most coronaviruses are not dangerous. Some types of them are serious, though. MERS and SARS are two examples. The name comes from the crown-like appearance the virus displays.

3) On May 4, 2013, the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg MB, Canada, received the novel coronavirus from the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Dr. Frank Plummer confirmed this in a CTV article from May 14, 2013.

4) These two pdf files from the World Health Organization seem to suggest recent collaboration between this Dutch lab and teams working on the current novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China.

5) A CBC article from May 19, 2013, confirms the virus sent to NML was a Saudi sample. Dr. Plummer said that they were unable to share it with other researchers because of Dutch restrictions. The Saudi researcher who sent the sample to Erasmus was fired.

6) A year later, Dr. Plummer left the National Microbiology Lab after 14 years. It is noteworthy that the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation gave Dr. Plummer $8.3M in 2005 to carry out his research. There's no indication, however, of any connection between that & the coronavirus.

7) Canadian Dr. Xiangguo Qiu worked at the National Microbiology Lab and, in 2014, successfully created a drug (ZMAPP) that could treat Ebola. It was given to two missionaries in Liberia who both contracted Ebola. Both survived. ppforum.ca/articles/dr-xi…

8) Shortly after, many companies started clinical trials for Ebola vaccines, some of which were founded by the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation. Some of these companies include Novavax, Merck, Fujifilm, MappBio, and Mabworks among others. who.int/medicines/emp_…

9) This Council on Foreign Relations article from June 16, 2017, highlights some of the connections between a few of the drug manufacturers. It appears as though the Chinese military got their hands on ZMAPP through a Beijing company called Mabworks. cfr.org/blog/tale-two-…

11) Here is Canadian Governor General, Julie Payette, presenting Dr. Xiangguo Qiu with the Governor General's Award in 2018.

12) This same National Post article explains how Dr. Qiu and her co-worker worked for Mabworks. They insist that they did nothing untoward by giving the Ebola vaccine over to the Chinese authorities. google.com/amp/s/national…

14) This CBC article from October 3, 2019, talks about how Dr. Qiu travelled to the Wuhan National Bio Safety Laboratory. Wuhan is the city where the current novel coronavirus outbreak apparently originated. google.com/amp/s/www.cbc.…

15) It also talks about how Dr. Qiu, her husband and fellow scientist, Keding Cheng, and their team of Chinese students, were removed from the Level 4 facility on July 5th of 2019 in the midst of a police investigation into a "policy breach".

16) Side note: Remember Novavax that created the Ebola vaccine? Apparently they are now creating a vaccine for this Wuhan coronavirus. Look how much their stock jumped in value because of the announcement. 71% is pretty healthy.

17) A Globe and Mail article from January 23, 2020, explains how Canadian patients are having their test samples sent to the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg.

18) I am not drawing any conclusions about how this deadly virus ended up in Wuhan China, but it does seem strange that Dr. Qiu worked at the NML and with Mabworks, travelled to China, and was caught handing over other deadly viruses to the Chinese. Coincidence? You can decide.

19) Now, add to that this nearly identical scenario that was enacted in November of 2019 by a roundtable working group. Not only is it creepy as hell, it's eerily similar to what is going on right now. centerforhealthsecurity.org/event201/video…

21) It appears to be just another funny coincidence that Dr. Frank Plummer died of an apparent heart attack on Feb 4, 2020, while giving a keynote speech in Kenya. Heart attacks can be deadly. cbc.ca/news/canada/ma…

22) Dr. Li Wenliang, from Wuhan, was forced by the police to retract his dire warnings of the deadly coronavirus that he'd made on Dec. 30th, before it had actually been identified. According to hospital officials, he died from the virus on Feb 8, 2020. google.ca/amp/s/www.nyti…

23) I'd missed a few things when doing my research on this at first. Dr. Qiu's partner, Dr. Kobinger, worked with her on the Ebola vaccine and he defended her in a CBC article from July 23, 2019. google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.…

24) He said there was no way she was involved in espionage because the Chinese have more scientists, work faster, have better access to supplies and resources and could have just done it there. Why, then, did the Chinese obtain the Ebola vaccines through US/Canadian sources?

25) Dr. Kobinger said the "administrative matter" and "policy breach" that had Dr. Qiu's team dismissed by the RCMP could have been because of improperly filed paperwork, or a question of mandate. He said the police didn't need to be involved and were only there as a 3rd party.

26) But then:
- Why would we be working on Ebola vaccines here if 'the Chinese could just do it'?
- Why were Dr. Qiu, her husband and staff not allowed back?
- Where are they now?
- Who were her "students"?
- Why wouldn't the RCMP or the NML clear it up if it were a simple error?

27) - Why did the CBC put out a piece saying online rumours about the coronavirus getting from Canada to China have "no factual basis" when we know that other deadly viruses and the Ebola vaccine were sent to China from the National Microbiology Lab? google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.…

28) - Why would they say that when we also know that a Harvard biochemistry prof was collaborating with Wuhan, a Harvard researcher was caught smuggling vials to China, and a Lieutenant in the People's Liberation Army infiltrated Boston U as a researcher? fox61.com/mobile/article…

29) Another interesting note, Justin Trudeau is the 2020 chair of the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission, of which China is also a member. One of their six areas of concern includes biological weapons. Again, I'm not drawing conclusions, just pointing out interesting facts.
