*Standing in a launderette in TLV trying to figure what coins I needed, an elderly gent reached out to show me & I saw the tattoo on his arm & realised exactly why Israel exists

Because Israel is this tiny slither of land (size of Wales/New Jersey) where that gentleman and all Jews can live free from persecution. after centuries of hate, Israel is their sanctuary
