The graduate student permitted me to publish his name: Alireza Yazdani. He met 2 attorneys @nikimehrani & Brad Maze in the Manroe County jail as he is awaiting to be sent back to #Iran on 4:10 PM flight unless his lawyers can get a stay order from the court in the next 3 hours.
Protest in Detroit airport to stop the deportation of #AliRezaYazdani->
And after 24 hours of detention by @CBP and a night in jail on his birthday Alireza Yazdani has now been added to the growing list of graduate students from #Iran with a valid visa and admission for Ph.D program in a US University who has been deported.
Here is CBP’s standard response without offering any explanation as to why yet another student from #Iran was deemed inadmissible. Says Alireza Yazdani “withdrew” his application.

Shahab Dehghani is another Iranian student with a valid F1 visa about to be deported. His attorney & a group of his friends are at @BostonLogan protesting right now. @CBP won’t let the Economics student at @Northeastern talk to anyone. Congressman Kennedy called, CBP said no.
Shahab has been in @CBP detention for more than 24 hours (since 5 PM yesterday.) CBP refuses to allow him to speak to anyone including his lawyer and does not say why they are refusing him entry. A pic of him and more pics of the protest by his friends at Boston Logan airport->
Note that this is not Shahab Dehgahni’s first entry to US with a valid student visa. He studied Economics in @Northeastern for 2 years. Then went back to #Iran and waited for a full year to get a new visa from US embassy in Ankara to come back & finish school. Now being deported.

Just spoke w/ a couple in Seattle. Man (Spehr, Software Eng.) is Canadian of Iranian background with a US Green Card. Woman is American with no ties to #Iran. Held 6 hours at the border as they drove back from Vancouver. Asked to give: Details of family names, jobs, phone numbers
school he went to in Iran, if he or his father did military service, if he traveled there recently, what did he do etc. Group next to him was asked to handover all social media handles (they were US citizens of Iranian background). Sepehr said at some point there was around 50
Iranian-Americans held in what’s known as the “secondary” room at the border by @CBP, some had arrived at 8 am & didn’t get to leave till 3:30 PM. Kids crying, families wondering why & officers offering nothing beyond: “this is going to the routine for the foreseeable future.”

Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari has issued a warning to foreigners & company employees to leave certain areas in anticipation of potential strikes.
In other words, Donald Trump is waiting for the Khashoggi-murdering, Yemeni baby-genociding Crown Prince MBS (who is also the Saudi Defense Minister) to tell the American Commander in Chief what to do? Trump knows all this is BS. But if fits perfectly into Israel's Iran plans.
