Since Dersh went there, asking "would you impeach a President of your own party on this same fact pattern," I'm gonna re-up a thread of scenarios that could hypothetically unfold with a Dem President in 2023 or 2024, and which would be totally impeachable.
Here's the thing. It's inconceivable that Dem primary voters would choose someone as politically corrupt and ethically vacuous as Donald Trump to be President. That's why these scenarios I've sketched out are ludicrous. Because we live in an era of asymmetrical partisanship.
