Even more true today as Trump's defense rested on claim of mixed motive.

The law typically requires person with exclusive access to evidence should bear the burden.

2. If the president’s counsel were correct that Trump had a mixed motive, then why doesn’t the President have to testify that he had such a mixed motive? House Managers proved one motive and if Trump wants us to believe he had another purpose he should have to say so under oath.
3. When I say the law typically requires the person with exclusive access to evidence should bear the burden — that obviously does not apply to criminal cases (and impeachment is not a criminal case).

What's at stake: This means the White House is claiming authority to strike #Iran again with no threat of imminent attack (and with no prior congressional authority).
3. White House report suggests US can hold Iran directly responsible for “support” to militias.

What’s at stake: That's a heck of a low threshold and could boomerang.

Does Trump want US to be held directly responsible for support to Syrian Kurds, for Saudi bombing in #YemenWar?

1. There have been lots of opinions across the political spectrum when @POTUS decided to withdraw a few special forces troops (<50!) from the Turkish border in NE Syria.
@POTUS 2. A lot of Deep Staters and globalists were flailing about their ridiculous comments condemning that change in policy after it was announced that ISIS top-dog and “austere religious scholar” al-Baghadi killed himself rather than being capture by US forces during a surprise raid.
@POTUS 3. Some email pals relayed this report from a friend who is Greek and teaches in Kurdistan – she has friends worldwide and widely distributed her assessment of the situation in northern Syria.

#Thread. Alright let’s deal with the Hecht Op-Ed/steaming pile of crap. First from a journalism perspective it should never have been published. It is a hot mess of exaggerations, fiction, and leaps of conclusion to fit the author’s - ignorant - narrative.
First never mind #Denmark I found the the most puzzling statement to be about #Switzerland, below. The Swiss are not governed by four ethnic governments with each ethnicity sticking to their fourth of the country. This claim, as far as I can tell, is total fiction.
Matter of fact after an afternoon researching Swiss governance, ethnicity, etc. The descriptions of #Switzerland used common terms like “diverse” “a melting pot.” Having been to Zurich it is also very nice and well worth a trip.
