@AndrewMcCurdy2 @jdouglaslittle going all the way back pre 80s, Fossil fuel consumption oscillating around its long term average, as renewable is trending up.
@AndrewMcCurdy2 @jdouglaslittle Within Fossil Fuel consumption, an uptrend in natural gas, petroleum oscillating sideways, coal in a downtrend.
@AndrewMcCurdy2 @jdouglaslittle Based on these observations, it seems renewable is primarily replacing coal.
@AndrewMcCurdy2 @jdouglaslittle I noted earlier, energy is the sector laggard and technology showing them ost relative strength over the past year. Solar is closer to and related to, technology. #trendfollowing #trending
