Alright Mr Bandt, I'll see your teenager suffering from 'climate anxiety' (leaving aside, of course, the fact that you and your ilk have stoked the hysterical, apocalyptic garbage that is largely responsible for such anxiety) and raise you...
The pensioner who runs the risk of getting hypothermia in her own home, because when she thinks about Australian electricity prices - among the highest in the world thanks to policies the green movement has inflicted on us - it all gets too much.
The young couple who may never own their own home, because when they look at Australia's criminally expensive housing - thanks in part to restrictive land release policies championed by the green movement - it all gets too much.
The farmer who is about to give it up, because when he watches fresh water being flushed out to sea, in the middle of a drought, for no good reason - thanks to a typically senseless green movement-inspired scheme - it all gets too much.
The Queensland tourism operator worrying about her livelihood because visitor numbers are in freefall - thanks to the ridiculous idea that the Great Barrier Reef is 'dying', pushed by the green movement - and it all gets too much.
The coal miner worrying about his job, his livelihood, his family and his community, because - thanks to the constant uncertainty foisted upon his industry by the mean-spirited nihilism of the green movement - it all gets too much.
The long-term unemployed, marginalised and deprived of the dignity of work, who have simply given up on finding a job because - thanks to the absurdly and dysfunctionally overregulated labour market that your party wants to ramp up even further - it all gets too much.
The executive who finds himself reluctant to hire, mentor or even dine with female colleagues because when he contemplates the worst excesses of the #MeToo phenomenon - enabled by the toxic brand of identity politics to which you subscribe - it all gets too much.
The parent despairing at the fact that her child can not yet learn to read - thanks to a Mickey Mouse curriculum cluttered with every new age fad the cultural left has been pushing for decades - and it all gets too much.
The small business owner struggling under the weight of tax and red tape and green tape and God-knows-what-other kind of bureaucratic interference - often in aid of imaginary problems dreamt up by the cultural left - which all gets too much.
The frustrated commuter dreading their drive to work, because when he thinks about the worsening morning traffic - which could have been alleviated by building the roads that the green movement vehemently opposes - it all gets too much.
And finally, the regional family worried about what will happen to their home next bushfire season, because when it comes to the restrictions on clearing their own land - bequeathed to us by (@'s be damned) the green movement - it all gets too much.
These are the hallmarks of an ideology that puts meaningless 'social justice' platitudes before the dignity of the individual, empty posturing before living standards, and trees and shrubs before human beings.
The senselessness and bald-faced hypocrisy of a movement that preaches love, tolerance and compassion, but leaves us divided, angry and wretchedly poor.

And to top it all off, a zealotry that stifles dissent with accusations of bigotry or 'denial' - if not outright censorship.
It's time to end the anxiety.

It's time to fight for a Freedom New Deal.
