$200K of full-page anti-teacher ads placed by group called Vaughan Working Families. The bill goes to Loopstra Nixon LLP. Phone calls to that firm were directed to partner, Quinto Annibale.

Now it gets really intriguing...

Annibale is on the board of mysterious Vaughan Working Families (VWF). A group registered in 2018 by a group called Vaughan Health Campus of Care (VHCC). A group organized in 2007 by developers to lobby and raise funds for new hospital in Vaughan.

Cue Lecce's appearance...

Stephen Lecce was seconded from his Harper govt role in 2009/10 - to support Julian Fantino's by-election campaign in Vaughan. After his election MP Fantino secured $10M of fed funds for VHCC group's project.

Quinto Annibale has contributed $30K to Ontario PCs since 2014...

In 2019, Vic Fedeli appointed Annibale to the LCBO board and Loopstra Nixon LLP accompanied Vic Fedeli on a government trade mission to India late last year. (not clear who paid for the law firm's travel)

After all this, the Ford government insists it's never heard of Vaughan Working Families group and they "have no knowledge" of who placed the $200K of ads.

Instead of Lecce, the government had Paul Calandra field VWF questions from TV reporters.

What I learnt on the Twitters this week:

1. Stephen Lecce assures Ontario he'll be proceeding with full-day kindergarten for a year. It is not known if Lecee will be attending these classes at a public or private school.
2. Vaughan Working Families is in fact one rich guy.
3. Doug goes to Washington on trade & investment mission and criticises Pelosi and praises Trump. Ontario: Open for Republican Business
4. Kenney goes to Texas to attend GOP prayer breakfast. Finds spiritual enlightenment and enjoys sausages at all-you-can-pocket breakfast buffet
5. After his extensive consultation with two St Mike's lacrosse players/international investment consultants, Lecce argues teacher hiring should be based on merit not seniority
6. Thousands of manly Jordan Peterson fanboys send Peterson flowers and hugs as Peterson tries to cope

1. Peter Mackay's leadership platform unveiled:

2. CPC Health Critic Matt Jeneroux insists Trudeau isn't stockpiling enough non-existent treatment for the Coronavirus. Also voices concern over Trudeau's plan to eliminate Canada's supplies of magic beans
3. Doug travels back in time and opens Amazon's Brampton warehouse in 2016
4. O'Toole announces he's "Taking Canada Back." He does not however specify to exactly which decade
5. UPC Press Secretary sends email to media offering them the chance to pick which lie they'd like to be told by Kenney
6. UCP Speaker says culture isn't part of their mandate.

1. Doug knocked $7.2B off the Ontario deficit overnight. Doug says he did this by bringing his own lunch to work for six months
2. The carbon tax caused a recession and as a result there are 120,000 new jobs in ON

4. Turns out the RCMP are not investigating Trudeau, but they are keeping a close eye on Andrew's office supplies
5. Alberta's paying $30M a year to fund a special interest group whose sole role "is to fight special interest groups"
6. Election infractions? Fire the Election Cops
7. Andrew Scheer's "that guy." That guy who ruins a party and then stays forever
8. "Kids will teach kids" and "[Ontario teachers] are the best paid workers in the world", and, if you Retweet it, it will be true

Now that the Impeachment is over we need to explore the real reasoning why @realDonaldTrump has reasons to be skeptical of this new President Zelensky. This comedian who came out of nowhere to topple the regime and become the head of the nation in Ukraine.
@realDonaldTrump Now people are going bonkers over this new Beck YouTube video, and it's quite the visual production, and a great sounding board. But if you have been paying attention, none of this is new news.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
