You Tube today removed a video clip of Rand Paul on the Senate floor~asking what Roberts blocked him from asking during the trial & it includes the name of a man many on the right believe to be the WB. Paul is screaming about being censured. #ThursdayThoughts Here's his statement
2-“It is a chilling and disturbing day in America when giant web companies such as YouTube decide to censure speech. Now, even protected speech, such as that of a senator on the Senate floor, can be blocked from getting to the American people.
3-"This is dangerous and politically biased. Nowhere in my speech did I accuse anyone of being a whistleblower, nor do I know the whistleblower’s identity."
I say, thank GOD at least someone had the decency to take the video down.

JUST IN: DOJ argues Roger STONE deserves jail time using an argument that would be very familiar to Democrats who just prosecuted the impeachment trial:
NEW: DOJ's argument to put Roger Stone in prison used eerily similar language as Democrats did in the impeachment trial.

#NEW I wrote about "electability" and the 2020 Democratic primary for the paper this week. We combined political science and polling data and found that a moderate Dem with strength among working-class whites has the best chance against Trump.

The 2020 election is likely to be close. Trump's approval rating & GDP growth suggest that he'll win about 49% of the two-party vote, per our modeling. He's clearly competitive, especially when Democrats need to win the popular vote by about ~2.5pts to win the electoral college.
So the "electability" of the candidates is a particular concern for Democrats.

So what do we know about who is more likely to win general elections?

JUST IN: New documents from the government in Roger Stone case argue that Stone does NOT need to be guilty of an underlying crime to be found guilty of obstruction. Prosecutors say he mischaracterizes Bill Barr's pre-AG memo on this subject.
The letter from SCHIFF and NUNES transmitting Stone's testimony transcript to DOJ last December.
The government also indicates Stone's conduct related to his indictment arose form the same search warrant as the one that led tot he indictment of Russian hackers.
